Our Story

Husband and wife team, Charlie and Kerin Hamilton, hit the streets with their Brunch Belly food truck in spring 2017. We’re serving hungry people awesome food anywhere and everywhere “BB-8” can drive to. Brunch Belly is the sweet spot between flavor and love. The design is a nostalgic throwback that supports our mission to balance a passion for food with family time. Charlie spent 10 years building his cooking career in a myriad of positions from Executive Chef of Christie’s in Newport, RI to a Sous Chef role at the iconic steakhouse, The Forge, in Miami Beach, FL, and then back home to Newport at the Spiced Pear at the Chanler Hotel. The incredible experiences were fast and furious but restaurant hours didn’t leave much time or energy for the growing family. In 2016, Charlie took some time to pause and realign career goals with family goals, which is how Brunch Belly was born. It’s a work-life union that involves Kerin’s design and business savvy with Charlie’s passion and talent for inspired food, all while being able to spend time with their young sons and hopefully more children in the future.
